Q Is your service only appropriate for large companies? A Emphatically NO. Every company of any size can benefit and our activities are scaled up and down accordingly. Most of our clients are mid-sized with between 100 and 500 employees, but it doesn't matter.
Q Are you business process re-engineering consultants? A Not really. There are similarities but we believe more can be achieved by spotlighting particular areas and working on those rather than assuming that a total overhaul of processes is necessary. We work in areas where you will feel the most benefit and leave those that function well already.
Q Are you a cost cuffing service? A No. Our aim is to get you more productivity for less cost but by better use of existing resources rather than through fewer resources or better buying.
Q Will business process innovations mean expensive changes to our IT Systems? A Probably not. Some changes are likely but these can normally be achieved within your existing software systems.
Q We want to change our IT systems anyway - how does your service fit into this? A Call us in from the start - it is an opportunity to improve procedures and these changes should drive the IT requirements and not the other way round.
Q Do you implement the IT changes when required? A We can do it for you or we can work with your existing IT people. Your choice.
Q Are we reliant on you if we need to make changes in the future? A Not usually. We aim to leave you with the tools and methods you need to maintain the systems and continue to innovate. You may like us to carry out a quarterly review initially to make sure the measures we put in place together are still working properly and you may like our input into new project in other areas of your business. Success leads to success and the innovations we introduce can be a stepping stone to continuous improvement.
Q Is it high risk? A No. Although all change carries an element of risk, our approach to change projects is designed to carefully manage the risk by ensuring that everyone understands and sees the benefits of the changes.
Q We've tried something like this before but it didn't last. How do you make the change last? A Many change projects fail because those involved - from senior management through to staff on the front line - only pay lip-service to the change. Our method focuses on ways to engage everyone in the change process, followed by how to embed the change, often through the intelligent use of IT.
Q Where does the name Infognosis come from? A The name Infognosis comes from Info - from the Latin informare "to form into" and gnosis - from the Greek gnosis "knowledge". Information leading to knowledge.
